‘The Long and the Short and the Tall’

Following our award-winning production of ‘Someone who’ll Watch Over Me’ by Frank McGuinness, met with resounding acclaim and sold out success at both the Edinburgh Festival and in London’s West End, Creative First Theatre presents Willis Hall’s classic Second World War drama, ‘The Long and the Short and the Tall’ at The Pleasance Theatre, Islington from the 19th of September until the 7th of October 2006.

Deep in the Malayan jungle, a platoon of inexperienced British soldiers on a routine patrol find themselves trapped behind enemy lines and hopelessly outnumbered. Their situation is complicated further when they capture a young Japanese soldier. As the play reaches its dramatic climax the raw recruits find themselves confronted by harrowing, life-changing decisions.

Program

Early indications at the Box Office suggest that this show is very likely to be a sell out. As we are to have both previews and reviews from all major local and national press in London, a mail-out to over 10 thousand people and the support of company patrons such as Brenda Blethyn OBE, we are confident of a very successful run. When you take out an advertisement in our program, we believe that you will be making a great investment, ensuring the exposure of your business to a great number of prospective clients from both the local area and all over the capital.

We will produce approximately 650 programs, A5 in size and of excellent glossy quality.

In comparison to flyers, programs are products that people will spend much more time reading, and with a greater level of concentration. They are also very often kept as souvenirs.
